Carolyn Watrous Taylor

Carolyn Watrous Taylor is the eldest child of Ray and Mildred Bates Watrous, owners and operators of the Home and Garden Variety store that used to be located at the intersection of 1700 East and 1700 South. She grew up in the neighborhood from 1941-1958. She returned to the family home at 1650 East 1700 South in 1967 and lived there until 2010. Carolyn and husband Dr. Kim Taylor are the parents of five sons.
