Pete Schwager Oral History Interview
Pete Schwager, born in Germany, came to the United States in 1939 as a refugee from the Jewish Holocaust. His family moved into 1817 Logan Avenue in 1949 when he was 14 years old. His interview includes his life story and provides a view of our neighborhood from the east side of the Gully.
